What it is

Custom SIP trunking lets your org use Sippet with your own telephony setup rather than relying on a single default delivery path.

In the console

In Settings > Telephony & SMS you can manage:
  • gateways
  • phone numbers
  • number-to-agent assignment
  • SMS sender settings
SIP user and operator voice access then fit into your broader call-center workflow.

Key concepts

  • Gateway: the connection definition for your carrier or SIP provider
  • Phone number: the inbound or outbound number attached to a workflow
  • Assigned AI agent: the agent tied to an inbound phone route
  • SIP access: the credentials operators use for voice participation
