Goal

Connect a branded support mailbox so your org can handle inbound and outbound support email inside Sippet.

Before you start

  • Choose the domain and inbox you want to use.
  • Decide whether the mailbox should default to the organisation, a user, or an AI agent.

Step 1: add the mailbox

In Settings > Emails & SMTP:
  • enter the inbound domain
  • review the MX target and listener values
  • choose the listener and TLS settings that fit your mail flow

Step 2: add sender identities

For each required address:
  • create the local-part and display name
  • choose the owner type
  • select whether it should be the default outbound identity

Step 3: test support handling

  • confirm inbound messages arrive
  • confirm the correct sender identity is used on outbound replies
  • confirm email activity appears in the contact’s support context
