# Invite and assign team roles

> Bring operators and admins into the org with the right role boundaries from the start.

## Goal

Invite the right people into Sippet and assign roles that match their real responsibilities.

## Before you start

* Decide who owns org-level configuration.
* Decide who needs operator access versus admin access.

## Step 1: invite the member

In `Settings > Team Members`:

* enter the email address
* choose the role
* send the invitation

## Step 2: review existing roles

Use the team list to confirm:

* owners are minimal
* admins can manage configuration safely
* operators have the access they need for live support work

## Step 3: adjust as the workflow matures

After onboarding:

* promote or reduce access as responsibilities change
* revoke outdated invitations
* remove members who no longer need org access

## What good looks like

* operators can work without broad admin access
* admins can configure channels and integrations cleanly
* the team roster stays current
