# AI providers (BYOK)

> Connect your own provider credentials for voice and AI agent behavior.

## What it is

Sippet lets your org bring its own AI provider credentials for supported models and runtimes.

Today the console clearly supports:

* OpenAI
* Gemini

It also includes managed-model notes and a path for custom model conversations with Sippet.

## In the console

In `Settings > AI Providers` you can:

* connect provider API keys
* review connection state
* remove or replace keys
* decide which provider your agents use

## Why use BYOK

* keep provider billing under your own account
* standardize on your preferred AI vendor
* separate model ownership from support workflow ownership
